Sunday Sundae!

F spin classes.  If I’m getting on a bike, I’ll want more than just a sweat-soaked shirt to show for it. I’ll need the promise of treats to keep me going.

Peddler’s Creamery: bicycle-churned small batch ice cream! All organic, fair trade, local ingredients made into ice cream by riding a bike. You can ride for 20 minutes to churn a batch of ice cream and get a free scoop (ride 175 miles to get a flavor named after you!), or you can just be a regular and pay for a scoop.  Which, after standing all day with a twisted ankle, was my pick. But next time, I’m peddling, I promise!

A scoop of dark chocolate orange and a scoop of cinnamon in a freshly made crispy/chewy waffle bowl, topped with hot fudge poured from a little fondue pot.

Also in the shop: a 160lb Irish wolfhound that was basically the size of the churning bike.

  1. What a clever concept – Work off the calories before you eat. Maybe you could have put that ice cold ice cream on your twisted ankle . . .
    Dark chocolate orange sounds devine!
